Designing knitwear is also about playing with texture. Assembling different yarns to create surprising and dreamy results. For our no. 25, Astrid worked a pure Lambswool together with a pure Alpaca. Sounds pretty good, doesn't it? The Pattern has a simple and elegant look, with this delicate details on the neckband and cuffs, very traditional Norway inspired. Astrid just finished knitting one for herself, thanks to the Woolful x Biches & Bûches Knitalong taking place on Instagram (#woolfulxbichesKAL), which she has chosen to make in an Off White with Blue Grey Details. She had already made the Grey one you can see on the photos, as well as a Burgundy one, but Louise and I snapped those two.

To knit with: The yarn is our own Biches & Bûches Petite. An amazing pure lambswool from Scotland. The knitting needles are some 3mm/US 2.5/UK 11 double pointed needles for the cuffs + 3,5mm/US 4/UK 9.5 double pointed needles for the cuffs and the neck band + 4mm/US 6/UK 8 and 4,5mm/US 7/UK 7 circular needles for the body - which you can find in The Needles Shop!

Sizes: S - M - L

The Biches & Bûches knitting kit: Wool in the chosen colors and model size + the pattern in the selected language + the knitting bag + the tag to sew in once the work is done!

Sizes of the finished sweater

How to determine your size: Take your favorite knitted sweater, worked in a yarn similar to the one you are considering, and measure its dimensions. It may not have the exact same shape, but it will give you an idea of the size to choose! A sweater in thin wool is often designed a little loose, so it is best to choose a slightly larger than smaller size. The Biches & Bûches designs are not inteded to be worn tight!
