Laine Magazine issue 2

Laine Magazine issue 2

Laine Magazine is a beautiful gathering of people, beauty and peacefulness, with that northern light and glow, shared by the incredibly talented Finnish co-editors of Laine: Jonna et Sini. it is a very special and intimate way to get to know more about our fiber community, as stories and feeling are shared openly, while we can carry it preciously around, read it in our bed, and expose it on the shelves in our home.

this issue holds designs and patterns by Anna Johanna, Ankestrick, Renate Yerkes, Biches & Bûches, Isabell Kraemer, Susanne Sommer, Andrea Mowry, Jonna Hietala, Lesley Robinson, Caitlin Hunter, and Jessica Gore.

& Stories about Andrea Mowry, Tukuwool, Biches & Bûches, Nordic Summer days and a little guide into Helsinki, and Felicia Lo.

you can see all the patterns here.

issue 2 is particularly precious to us as there is an article about us in it! astrid wrote about her woolen journey, going back to 1995 with strong memories of a trip to Norway, accompanied by photographs I have taken.
astrid also created a design specially for the magazine, a precious & rustic wrap / scarf / shawl, called the Biches & Bûches no. 60, knit in our Le Petit Lambswool.
